On a Saturday I'm in someone's bedroom with a pin tin. I'll answer on the Tuesday.

What to put in your first message
- The date. Even if it's only a month for now, I can tell you how that season looks.
- The venue. It sets the travel fee and tells me how the light falls.
- The ceremony time. A rough one is fine. I plan the morning backwards from it.
- How many faces. Up to 6 with me alone, up to 10 with Nomsa.
- Whether anyone is under 12. Flower girls aged 8 to 12 get simple hair only, no makeup, and I don't do makeup on anyone under 8.
A note, once a year
July
No trials, no weddings, no replies until August.
I close for the whole of July. It's the wettest month here, there are almost no weddings, and after nine months of Saturdays my wrists and my family both need it. Write to me anyway. I'll answer everything in the first week of August, in the order it came in.
